Hello! Today, the weather was lovely, so my sister and I had an adventure in the woods. 🙂
We grabbed our sticks, then headed outside. We waded through excessive streams and got stuck in a lot of mud. 😛 Then, we made it to the very back of the woods, where all is quiet and it is very creepy. *shudders* After getting thoroughly scared, we decided to go in a different direction and ended up at my favorite place…..
There are a lot of streams on our property, but this secluded spring is my favorite. In order to get to it, one must crawl through a forest of thorny vines and huge trees. It’s totally worth it, though. 🙂
The water is pretty deep and makes a lovely gurgling sound. 😉 The mud was thick and it was everywhere! We got rather dirty. 😛
There’s a HUGE old oak tree resting by the banks of the spring. It has really big roots that make an excellent place to sit. 😉
I love this picture! ❤
On the walk back through our hayfield, I took quite a few pictures.
We have a big tree that blooms these lovely red flowers every spring. ❤
Look at the amazing designs on this log!
This was one of the many mushrooms growing on a ginormous old tree.
Ooh! Look! What is this purple glowing bokeh-ish thing? Are you hallucinating, readers? Maybe it’s an undiscovered planet! XD
Once we got back inside, we removed our mud-covered boots. I took one more picture of our table with evening light shining through the curtains. 🙂
Whew! That was a lot of photos! My sister and I had a great time exploring in the woods. 😀
Thanks so much for reading!
