Recent Photography: Flowers and Fuzzy Things

Greetings!

Spring is here in all its glory. Flowers are blooming, green things are growing, and animals are rejoicing!

I took quite a few photos of flowers and fuzzy animals while enjoying the warm weather today. I hope you enjoy them! 🙂

Dandelions are so big and bright! My sister Lila has been picking enormous bouquets of them. As a result, our kitchen is full of vases stuffed with flowers. 😉

These white flowers are super tiny and cute. 😛

I don’t know what these purple flowers are called, but there are hundreds of them blooming in our yard!

Our redbud trees are blooming! I love redbuds. ❤

The leaves of the eucalyptus tree….

My sister has this enormous vining plant in her garden that blooms these vibrant purple flowers in the spring.

Our pear tree is budding! This is a leaf bud. 🙂

The pear tree’s flowers are so pretty! When their petals fall, it looks like snow. ❤

This is the last of the flowers, I promise. XD

Now it’s time for FUZZY THINGS!

Miss Ember, my blog mascot. ❤

Ninja. This cat spends the majority of his day sleeping on the porch and grooming his large amounts of fluff. XD

I love the black and white markings on his nose!

That picture might have taken you by surprise. 😛 Whenever I try to take photos of our goats, they usually turn out like this. They’re just so curious, they can’t resist sniffing my camera!

This is Sweetheart, one of the babies born last spring. I was literally laying on the ground to get this shot….

Clover, with her mouth full of hay. 😛

This is Anne. Remember her? Anne is the most friendly and curious out of all our goats. Whenever I go in the goat pen, she sneaks up behind me and nibbles my clothes until I scratch her head. XD

See? She’ll pull on my shirt until she gets what she wants. 😛

She is such a mischievous goat!

King Grover. Ninja may be my readers’ favorite fluffy cat, but Grover will forever be the King of Fluff.

BANJO AND BUTTON. THEY’RE SO ADORABLE.

Button is cleaning Banjo’s ear in this picture. They groom each other all the time!

That wraps up this installment of Recent Photography! 😀

Has spring arrived where you live?

Some of you may have noticed that I watermarked all these photos. IT TOOK FOREVER. *pants*

Anyways, could I get your opinion on the watermark? Is it too big? Too small? Hard to see? Your thoughts would be much appreciated! 😀

  2. I love these pictures!! They’re awesome! 🙂 Your goats are so adorable. heart eyes And I think the watermark is good, but maybe it should have your whole blog name on it! If it’s just a “C”, it’s sort of hard to know who the pictures belong to. 🙂

  3. I LOVE your recent photography posts, Clara!
Oh my goodness, no fair! Your trees are BLOOMING? They’re getting LEAVES? In FEBRUARY? XD Sigh Maybe it doesn’t look so spring-like up here after all… XD Anyway, gorgeous pictures, as always! I was going to say the photos I especially loved, but the list got rather long. XD And aww, the bunny dears! 🙂 ♥ How are they getting along? Are they tame or a bit skittish?
    P. S. Oh. My. Applauds That was a loooot of watermarking, Clara. XD I think it looks pretty good! You can see the watermark pretty well but it doesn’t take over the picture. Except maybe in pictures like the one of Sweetheart the goat where the “C” is black on a light blue background, it might help to make it a bit more gray, but I honestly don’t really mind at all. XD Phew, this has been quite the comment, so I’d better wrap it up. 😉

    1. P. P. S. Oh, and I agree with Emma: it might be nice to have either your blog name or at least “Clara” as a watermark instead of just a “C.” But that would mean so much work for you… 😦 XD

    2. Eeek, I never replied to this! facepalm

I’m SOO glad you do! 🙂 LOL, yep, that’s insert home state weather for you. XD

Thank you!! The bunnies are getting along quite well. They have gotten a lot more used to us, and they love nibbling grass from our hands. 😛 Banjo is a chewer. He chewed a hole in my shirt. XD

Heh heh, yes, it took quite a while! Oooh, thank you so much for the very helpful feedback. 😀

Thank you for the comment, I always enjoy them!

  4. Pretty pictures! And your goats are so cute!
I actually didn’t even notice the watermark until you mentioned it! XD I don’t know much about watermarks, but that’s probably a pretty good thing. XD
    Yay for spring!

  5. I love flowers and fluffy things, so this is the perfect post! XD
By the way, that purplish flower/weed thing is called henbit. 😉
I like the watermark! I think maybe a bit more than a C might be nice. It doesn’t really have to be any harder though, because you could just make your watermark on a transparent background, then save it and add it as an overlay to your post! 😀 Or is that what you already do? 🙂

    1. Hehe, I’m very glad! 😛
Oooh, thank you. I knew you would know what it was. XD
Yeah, that’s what I do. I agree that it should be something more than a C, I just can’t figure out a good watermark that has my whole blog name. I feel like it’ll be too big and distracting! I thought about making one that says “CCC”, but that’s the name of the Civilian Conservation Corps. XD
