We were hit by some pretty bad weather last week, but thankfully we made it out alright. 🙂 There was a lot of wind, rain, and lightning. The wind knocked down several things, including one of our beautiful redbud trees. 😦 After the storms passed, however, we had 2 nights of epic sunsets!
The first night, there was this amazing sunset that was a bright, fiery shade of red. It was so beautiful!
Isn’t that incredible? 😮
I edited these photos very little – I mostly just darkened the area around the trees a bit because the dark parts turned out slightly grainy in my photos. The sky was so amazingly red, it really didn’t need any editing!
The roof of our pole barn took a beating during the storm. 😦 It made for a fascinating silhouette, though!
God is an amazing artist. ❤
The night after that, we had a lovely golden sunset along with a double rainbow. I didn’t get a ton of pictures because it was raining and I didn’t want to ruin my precious camera. 😛
The broken pole barn roof is fascinating to photograph.
The sky was such a strange color – sort of a blue/green/gray.
I tried and failed to capture the rainbow on my camera, but thankfully my mom got this beautiful shot with her phone! The goats were peacefully grazing beneath it.
Here’s one last picture of Ember watching the golden sunset from her perch on top of the old pickup truck. ❤
What has your weather been like lately? Don’t you just love sunsets?
