Here is the whole room. The walls are constructed of 2 white tri-folds from Hobby Lobby. I like using the tri-folds because they’re really tall, which gave me plenty of space to decorate the walls. The floor is a large piece of wood paneling.
On the left side of the room is Poesy’s loft bed. It’s a bunk bed that I got from Amazon, then I removed the bottom bunk to turn it into a loft bed. 🙂 The mattress came with the bed, and I made the comforter and pillow.
On the wall above Poesy’s bed, there are several posters and a photo banner.
Poesy really loves dogs, so she has a picture of some puppies from an American Girl catalog. There’s also a Tangled poster (she loves Disney) and a Peanuts poster. The “AG Doll Awesome” poster is from Samantha. 😀
Here’s a closer look at the photo banner.
Poesy’s cute little sock monkey is a Christmas ornament. I love how realistic he is!
The little ladder is so cute! Poesy’s backpack is hanging from it. I got the backpack from Joanns.
On the right side of the room, there is a fluffy chair, a small rug, and a shelf with some of Poesy’s belongings on it. There is also a gallery wall above the shelf:
I used a combination of printables and handmade items to create this gallery wall. I really like how it turned out!
This “P” took me so long to make. It took quite a bit of trial and error before I was finally happy with it. 😛
Poesy’s fluffy chair is from the My Life As line at Walmart. I love the pretty lavender color!
The chair is very comfy. 😛
Above the chair, I hung some colorful paper cranes that my younger brother made for me. He’s excellent at origami. 🙂
Back on the left side of the room, there is a play/storage area set up under the loft bed. The fluffy rug and the chest are from Joanns, and the other items are from a variety of different places.
It seems like a fun place to relax and play or maybe read a book. 🙂
Here is an aerial view of the bedroom. It took me several weeks of work to get it just right, and overall I’m quite happy with the outcome. 😀
That’s about it! Thanks so much for reading, everyone!
