What’s up, everyone? How’s your day going? What has your weather been like this summer?
We’ve had a very hot past couple of months as usual, but the other day we had some surprisingly cool and refreshing weather, which was really nice. I took the rare opportunity to go into the woods and do some exploring (and some photography, of course!) along with two of my sisters. 🙂
Does anyone know what kind of flower this is? It’s so pretty and fuzzy!
I love finding the tiny splashes of color among the greens and browns of the forest. They’re so fun to photograph!
We have a large creek that runs along one side of our property. It’s a lot of fun to wade in! Right before the creek flows onto our land, it runs under a bridge which unfortunately is a place where a lot of people dump things into the creek. One upside to that, however, is that some very interesting things have washed up onto our land over time! We once found a cassette tape in the creek that still played music after some minor repairs. 😮
Our woods are full of huge spiders. Though their webs are always in the way and it’s quite annoying, they really are beautiful creatures. *sighs as everyone shrieks at the sight of a spider* XD
This spider’s web kinda reminds me of broken glass. 😀
Can you find the creature in this picture? Tell me in the comments if you find him!
I love exploring! It seems like there’s always some little corner of the woods that’s waiting to be discovered. 🙂
Thank you for taking the time to read my post!
Have you ever gone exploring? Which picture was your favorite? Which picture was your least favorite? Please let me know in the comments — your feedback helps me become a better photographer!
