REVIEW: Peach & Poppy Co. Pen Pal Kit

Happy National Croissant Day! To celebrate this monumental holiday, I’m going to be reviewing a pen pal kit from the lovely Etsy shop Peach & Poppy Co. πŸ˜€ When Megan opened her shop last week, I was so excited that I ordered a kit right away. XD I wasn’t disappointed by what I received, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading my review!

Megan, the owner of Peach & Poppy Co., is a farm girl and blogger who loves snail mail and has had pen pals for over ten years. Her pen pal kits are perfect for a beginning or more experienced pen pal, and they’re filled with all kinds of goodies to help you write, decorate, and inspire your snail mail process.

Let’s take a look at what you get when you buy a pen pal kit!

My kit arrived wrapped in pretty tissue paper. Inside the paper, there’s a nice little thank-you note, and the pen pal kit is in a clear plastic bag.

Here’s what the front of the kit looks like! I love the pretty logo and colors. πŸ™‚

When you open up your kit, here’s what you’ll find! (This may vary in the future, but this is what the current kits contain.)

Isn’t that amazing? There are so many useful things here, from supplies to help you write letters and decorate envelopes to fun things to send your pen pal! I especially love the notebook – it’s great for writing letters or jotting down ideas, and it’s the perfect size to travel with so you can write letters on the go.

Here’s an envelope that I made using things from the kit! I decided to decorate one of the included envelopes with a diamond theme. I layered scrapbook paper and washi tape from the kit at the top, then cut my pen pal’s name out of more of the included tape. The galaxy jewels were included in the kit, and I drew the rest. πŸ™‚ Having so many useful supplies in one place made decorating easy, and I still have so many things left over for next time!

Here’s the back of the envelope – I used more of the included scrapbook paper to line the inside flap for a fun surprise. πŸ˜€ This kit gave me so much inspiration for letters and envelope designs!

Overall, I absolutely loved my pen pal kit! The kits are such a creative idea and I think Megan did a wonderful job creating them. πŸ˜€ A pen pal kit would make a wonderful gift for a new pen pal, a friend you’d like to keep in touch with, or even yourself. πŸ˜‰ Click below to visit the shop – there are only a few kits left!

  1. weeps happy tears Looking at pen-pal letters is a constant exercise in “let’s see how beautiful can people’s imaginations can be?” I didn’t even know packages like this existed. I have a friend who loves pen-paling, and I may just get this for her birthday… 😍

  3. Oh my goodness! That is such a cute kit! I used to have tons of pen pals haha but now that I have a phone I don’t anymore. We all text now lol. But my best friend and I still write letters! (even though we text 24/7 haha) But that might be fun to buy one of those! πŸ˜€ This is a great review! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ
