Happy National Oreo Day, everyone! It’s also National Dentist’s Day, which is kind of ironic. But more importantly… HAPPY SPRING! 😀 Or happy late winter, if you live in a cold state. *hands you a bouquet of consolation*
It’s very sunny here, and there are hundreds of flowers blooming in the yard, so I’m in a very spring-y mood. 🙂 Today, I bring you my recent photography, along with a spring playlist mixed throughout the photos. I hope you enjoy! Just so you know, I’m not splitting the photos into categories this time. 😀
We’ll begin with some sunset photography. 🙂
Marigold // Relient K
Life is Beautiful // Rend Collective
Look at that chubby face! XD This is Lucky, back when the goats still had puffy winter coats.
You may now applaud Calvin’s cuteness. He’s become so incredibly friendly over the past few months! He loves getting chin scratches and eating the henbit bouquets we bring him.
Heaven Knows // The Hunts
Fluffy is a little cross-eyed, but she’s still awfully cute.
Look at all that PURPLE! Our yard is absolutely covered in henbit flowers right now.
Along The Way // The Hunts
Let it Rain // Crowder
I love this photo! My younger siblings created a tree fort that they call “Camp Wilderness”. It kind of looks like something from the Hundred-Acre Wood, don’t you think?
Something Beautiful // NEEDTOBREATHE
This is a slightly random and grainy picture, but I wanted to include it. Did any of you see the Super Blood Wolf Moon? It was SO cool to watch. When the moon was completely covered by the Earth’s shadow, the stars were absolutely amazing. I saw an incredibly bright shooting star! Have you ever seen a shooting star?
I bet you didn’t see this coming. XD While the South was busy bursting into bloom, we took a trip to North Dakota, where everything was frigid and covered in snow. I’m cold just thinking about it. 😛
Here’s me in my winter gear before heading out to play in the snow. Who needs gloves anyway? (Hint: I do. My fingers were quite numb afterwards.)
Laura the snow ninja.
Wagon Wheel // Darius Rucker
While we were up there, we visited the National Buffalo Museum, home of the world’s largest buffalo statue. It was beautiful. :’)
We tried to walk all the way out to the buffalo, but the snow was so deep that it wasn’t safe. Here’s some of the footprints we made before deciding to abandon our mission.
The snow-covered, abandoned historical town was slightly creepy but very photo-worthy.
You Are My Sunshine // Morgane & Chris Stapleton
There were so many farms! They looked absolutely beautiful in the snow.
Your Smile // Sleepy Man
Illuminate // The Hunts
Here’s me. 😀 Note that I’m wearing a hat. Inside the heated truck. It was FREEZING, guys.
Corduroy Road (Instrumental album)// Adam Young
This guy was reading some sort of dystopian novel in the seat in front of me.
While we’re on the subject of black and white photos, here’s another one – a lonely North Dakotian in the snow.
Not All Heroes Wear Capes // Owl City
We shall end with a macro photo of a book page. 😀 I recently bought a macro lens reversal ring, and it’s been really fun to experiment with!
I hope you enjoyed my photos and the spring playlist! Those artists are some of my favorites, and I highly recommend checking them out. 🙂
Have a wonderful day, everyone! ❤
