Happy Easter, friends! ❤ I hope you all have a wonderful day. 🙂 If you’re a Christian, I hope you enjoy this celebration of the resurrection of Jesus! Easter is one of my favorite days – it’s always such a joyful, hopeful holiday to me.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” – Matthew 28:5
Isn’t that amazing? Even unto death, Jesus keeps his promises to us. 😀
Today, I’d like to share some artwork I’ve done in my journal over the past few months. I also have some envelope art to show you! I hope y’all enjoy looking through my creations. 🙂
My beloved Prismacolors are becoming quite depleted after almost two years of use. Look how short that poor blue pencil is. XD
I drew most of these in church on Sunday morning – drawing helps me focus on the message and keeps my mind from wandering. Is there something you do in church that helps you stay focused?
This one is just a rough pencil sketch, but isn’t that a great quote?
He is the literal definition of truth. ❤
Here’s a small girl with her very large plant.
Don’t forget, guys. 😎
These are basically all bible verses or praise song lyrics. XD But those are always so encouraging and fun to draw!
We’ve been reading through Isaiah at church, so a lot of these verses are from it. It’s such an amazing book!
See what I mean? There are so many powerful verses like this in Isaiah.
We shall end my journal artwork with these lovely lyrics from a song that I can’t remember the name of. Now for some envelope art!
Photo credit for these pictures goes to Megan, who was kind enough to send me photos of the recent envelopes I’ve mailed to her and Allison. Thank ye muchly! 😀
If you recognize Barbara Manatee, I CONGRATULATE YOU. If not, you had a sad childhood. *sigh*
Isn’t the little sloth cute? This envelope was fun to decorate. 🙂
To end this post, we have a cheery sunflower envelope. 😀
Thanks so much for looking through my artwork! Which drawing was your favorite? What have you been creating recently?
Happy Easter! ❤
