Good evening, friends! How has your weekend been? Today’s post is going to be pretty quick, but hopefully you’ll find it somewhat interesting! I have some free clipart to share – I had a lot of fun creating it. 🙂
Introducing my latest design…
YAY! I spent all weekend working on this clipart, and I’m excited to finally share it with y’all. What do you think? Which little plant is your favorite?
Click below to download the clipart through Google Drive. 😀 Even if you aren’t the kind of person who needs/uses clipart, it would be amazing if you shared this on your blog/Pinterest/social media so that other designers can see it! I know how useful free resources are for bloggers, and I want to share my creations with as many people as possible. 🙂
I’ve shared clipart on my blog in the past, but these designs are a little different because I created them completely virtually – I usually draw my designs on paper, photograph them, and then edit the photos to create clipart. (You can click here to see the clipart I’ve made using that method.)
This past weekend, I finally decided that I wanted to learn how to draw digitally using a simple drawing tablet that we’ve had for a while. After much experimentation in GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program), I was successful! If you’re a photographer, graphic designer, or artist, I highly recommend downloading GIMP. It’s completely free, easy to use, and has a ton of useful tools – I use it to edit all my photos and make all my graphics. 😀
In case any of you would like to try making your own clipart using GIMP, I took a screenshot of the brush settings I used to get a smooth, clean look. You can click here to see it. 🙂
Thanks so much for reading! What do you think of my designs? Have you ever tried using GIMP?
What’s your favorite type of post that I do? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
