A Change of Scenery: Nashville Photography

*opens the curtains and lets the sunshine in* Greetings, humans of the earth! I hope you’re having a marvelous day. ๐Ÿ˜€

Today’s post is a rather rare occurrence – I have photography that actually goes together instead of the usual million-different-mixed-up-subjects. Hurrah! These photos are from a recent five-day trip to Nashville.

I wasn’t going to put a playlist in this post, but then I finished writing it and changed my mind. ๐Ÿ˜€ So… enjoy the music and photos!

I really love the way strangers look in black and white, so we’ll begin with some b&w street photography! I think I’ll just let these pictures speak for themselves, since words might distract from the potential stories they could tell. People always seem a bit more interesting when you don’t know anything about them.

So, the last three were my siblings, not strangers, but I find it so interesting that people were so caught up in their own worlds that they didn’t even notice a kid with a bright blue backpack pointing a loud camera at them. XD

*waves to the fellow photographer* Here are a few more strangers that I didn’t put in b&w because I loved the colors in the photos.

Okay, that’s enough black and white. Behold the beautiful city colors!

I hope that was an enjoyable change of scenery from my usual photography! I certainly enjoyed capturing these photos – I already miss being in Nashville. I’d love to hear your thoughts on favorite pictures, the songs I mentioned, or anything else you feel like sharing. Thank you so much for reading, as always!

Have a warm, restful remainder of your weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. CITY PHOTOGRAPHY! CITY PHOTOGRAPHY BY CLARA!!! Your photos are so incredibly gorgeous and topped my daydreaming-of-summer-in-the-city day off. (yes I know summer is gone but it is still in my daydreams 10000% of the time) Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful photographs, they invoke so many story ideas! ๐Ÿ˜

    1. Oh my goodness, really? Ahh, that’s so neat! Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh, I don’t know if I can pick just one thing – I love all of the music, of course. Just driving through the city seeing all the lights and colors might have been my favorite part. ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. I really love to take pictures of random people. It has almost become a game for me to try to take pictures of strangers and not let them notice me. Sometimes I get really good pictures when I happen to snap at the exact moment they find out I’m taking a pic of them. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. YAY! Somehow this post didn’t show up in my reader, but I’m glad I found it now! I LOVE your stranger photography so much! ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m not really sure why, but I do! And that one of the guy who actually posed for a photo is my favorite. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’d love to go visit Nashville sometime!
